1.Te is only found in native high-grade suitable for primary mining from mineral in Apollo's Dashiguo Mine.
2.Te is more often found as the low-grade (0.0005%-0.001%) telluride combined with copper, gold or silver.
3.Primary current use of Te is as CdTe for thin-film PV.
4.Global total output of Te is currently 580 MT per year (99.9%, 2007), and is expected to increase in the next 10 years.
Apollo capacity currently 45 MT (99.999%-99.99999%) (50MT for 99.9%) to increase to 300MT (99.999%-99.99999%) with the proceeds of this financing.
5.High-purity (99.999%-99.99999%) Te used in the manufacturing of CdTe solar cells will be in especially high demand.
